FAQ

  • What themes does your book Foxman explore?
Fox's story navigates the universal quest for belonging and purpose, cheerfully entwined with the thrill of discovery and the power of self-acceptance. It's a narrative that celebrates differences and underscores the importance of being yourself. "I have many powers, why couldn’t I see? I can be SUPER by just being ME.” Foxman is more than just a story; it’s a tool for fostering self-esteem and encouraging emotional and social learning. In Fox's story we also explore the world of job-seeking and we get up-close-and-personal with policemen, firemen and fishermen. Always a big hit for little readers.
  • What age are your children's books targeted to?
My books are targeted at preschoolers and respective caregivers. Echoing C.S. Lewis, I believe that a children's story should not be enjoyed solely by children. Therefore, my stories aim to delight and educate all its readers; through fun, rhythmic narratives, relatable themes, humorous scenarios, and joy.
  • You mention motherhood inspires your writing. How so?
After having my daughter in 2021, I decided to leave my corporate-leadership background behind, and dive full-pelt into full-time mothering to my full capacity. Amongst other things terrific, trying, and oxymoronic, I discovered the beauty of being present, and the magic in our daily lives. Looking at the world through my children’s eyes, I have experienced a whimsy, a slowness and a peace, which have all brought me enormous happiness. For the past 2 and a half years I’ve been leaning into all that crazy, magic chaos as much as possible. I wanted to capture a piece of that magic and whimsy and put into a picture book, to give back to my children who love being read to.
